EventsHere are some important dates for your diary: 26th March 2009 - Aberdeen City launch of SKALDAberdeen City launch of Ian's new Chapbook SKALD at Books & Beans, Belmont St. Aberdeen 6.30pm - 8.00pm All welcome - bring your own poems too! 27th March 2009 - Aberdeenshire launch of SKALD Aberdeenshire launch of Ian's new Chapbook SKALD at The Salmon Bothy, Portsoy, 7.00PM - 8.00PM - all welcome! 5th April - Re-launch of SALIX POTTERY & GALLERY Grand re-launch of the gallery, with expanded gallery space and new artists. Sunday 5th April 2.00PM - 5.00PM at the gallery. Not to be missed! 22nd - 25th May 2009 - C O A S T Festival of Visual Arts Art Fair based at McDuff Town Hall, over-looking the harbour. SALIX POTTERY & GALLERY will be exhibiting and selling Wenna's ceramics and Salix Publications cards and books. Fri. 11th Sept. - Sun. 20th Sept. -North East Open Studios We will be taking part in the NEOS week this year, with opening hours extended to 8.00 PM each day, Fri. 11th - Sun 20th inclusive. Sat. Aug. 22nd - Tues Sept. 8th: CLOSED The gallery will be closed for the period noted above, so we can take a holiday. We apologize for any inconvenience - please note we'll be open again for NEOS (see above), and till the end of the month after that. Oct 1st 2009 - Spring 2010 - CLOSED FOR THE WINTER The gallery will be closed for the winter period. 2010 Spring and Summeropening dates are not yet fixed, but due to other commitments are likely to be for June - Sept only.
